The Man With 10,000 Brains
In 2005 Bernie Crosby was diagnosed with Parkinson’s Disease. In a heartbeat his life, and the lives of his family and friends changed forever. Bernie joined the nearly 10,000 New Zealanders living with Parkinson’s disease.
Those who know Bernie and Kaye, and their fierce determination, can probably guess what happened next. They formed The Neuro Research Charitable Trust and set themselves an initial goal that to most people would seem impossible; to raise $1million in 5 years to fund the discovery of a cure.
That was 2013 and, through the generosity of our supporters, the initial $1m target has been reached with significant research breakthroughs made. Our step goal now is to accelerate the research findings and continue to raise funds for the Centre for Brain Research. Our journey continues to find a cure.
That’s our story, and we hope you will decide to be part of it.
